About the Role: Join Karan Kavach as a Sales and Marketing Specialist and Personal Assistant to the CEO, CTO, and leadership team.
This role combines a 1-year training period with a full-time opportunity for candidates who meet performance standards.
Ideal for freshers, 2023/2024 college pass-outs, or candidates eager to grow with an ambitious startup.
Contribute to marketing, sales, operations, and strategic initiatives while working closely with
leadership.Responsibilities
Sales & Marketing:
Create and manage marketing campaigns on Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms to drive app downloads and brand awareness.
Optimize SEO for the website and app landing page to increase organic traffic.
Perform App Store Optimization (ASO) to improve KaranKavach’s Google Play ranking.
Write and publish articles, blogs, and press releases on external websites and with news reporters.
Design engaging content (videos, infographics, social media posts) using Canva.
Set up and manage email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp or similar tools.
Track marketing KPIs (e.g., downloads, engagement) using Google Analytics.
Investor Relations:
Schedule investor calls, follow-ups, and networking events.
Leadership Support:
Take detailed notes during meetings with CEO, CTO, and leaders on sales, marketing, finance, and business requirements.
Create Jira stories, assign tasks, and manage timelines for cross-functional alignment.
Design Figma diagrams (e.g., workflows, UI mockups) and collaborate with the tech team.
Handle administrative tasks (scheduling, email management, travel coordination).
Customer & Community Growth:
Engage with followers THROUGH social media comments, polls, or live sessions.
Outreach to partners (e.g., influencers, local businesses) for collaborations.
Coordinate startup events, webinars, or hackathons to promote KaranKavach.
Market Research:
Conduct competitor analysis and market research to refine marketing strategies.
Education:
Postgraduate degree (e.g., MBA in Marketing or Business Management) is a plus for full-time candidates but not mandatory.
Certifications in digital marketing, SEO, or project management (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, PMI) are highly desirable.

Interview Process

Round 2: Technical & Marketing Skills:
Complete a take-home assignment (e.g., social media post, SEO article, ASO strategy).
Format: Submission review + 45-minute discussion.
Round 3: Soft Skills & Task Management:
Role-play scenarios (e.g., note-taking, Jira story creation, investor call scheduling).
Format: 1-hour video interview with CEO/CTO.
Round 4: Cultural Fit & Vision Alignment:
Evaluate alignment with KaranKavach’s vision and startup adaptability.
Format: 30-minute video call with leadership.
Salary & Perks
A** (Excellent)**: CTC 4,20,000 INR + 4 stocks/year (no upper salary/stocks bar for exceptional SDEs*).
A* (Very Good)**: CTC 4,20,000 INR + 3 stocks/year.
A (Good)**: CTC 4,20,000 INR + 2 stocks/year.
A (Above Average)*: CTC 4,20,000 INR + 1 stock/year.
Additional: 1 stock for retention/performance improvement if on path to higher ratings.
Training Period (1 Year):
A++ Rated Engineer: CTC 4,00,000 INR + 1 stock (retention/performance).
A+ Rated Engineer: CTC 3,50,000 INR + 1 stock (retention/performance).
A Rated Engineer: CTC 3,00,000 INR + 1 stock (retention/performance).
Base Training CTC: 1,20,000 INR salary + 1,20,000-1,80,000 INR perks (total 2,40,000-3,00,000 INR).
Perks: Company-provided luxurious flat in Bangalore (10,000-15,000 INR/month, including electricity/water worth 500-1,000 INR/month).
Note: Training may extend if performance standards aren’t met, with continued perks for selected candidates.
