1. Sales Responsibilities

• Generating New Business

  • Actively prospect for new customers and identify sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending trade shows and events.

  • Develop relationships with potential clients in various industries by understanding their technical needs and presenting tailored solutions.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits and features of products.

  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients.

• Client Relationship Management

2. Service Engineer Responsibilities

• Installation and Setup

  • Oversee the installation of equipment, systems, or machinery at client sites.

  • Ensure that all installations are completed according to the company’s standards and specifications, and that customers are fully trained on how to use the products.

  • Conduct site surveys before installations to assess the client's needs and ensure the feasibility of the system or product.

• Product Maintenance and Repair

  • Provide ongoing service and maintenance support to ensure that products continue to operate effectively after installation.

  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on faulty products or systems.

  • Conduct routine maintenance visits to minimize downtime and ensure products remain in optimal working condition.

  • Provide timely solutions to customer issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

• Technical Support

  • Offer both remote and on-site technical support for troubleshooting and resolving product issues.

  • Assist customers with user training and ensuring that they understand how to use products efficiently.

• Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate service records, including service reports, maintenance schedules, and technical support logs.

  • Prepare detailed technical reports, outlining issues, solutions, and customer feedback.

  • Document all customer service interactions, product issues, and resolutions in the company’s CRM or service management system.

3. Product and Market Knowledge

• Technical Expertise

  • Keep updated on the technical specifications, functionalities, and applications of the products and services offered by the company.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s industry and challenges to effectively offer solutions.

  • Stay abreast of competitor products, industry trends, and technological advancements to provide value-added recommendations to clients.

• Training and Development

  • Attend product training sessions and vendor certifications to enhance technical and product knowledge.

  • Help customers understand new features and provide updates when new technologies or product versions are released.

4. Customer Feedback and Improvement

• Customer Feedback Collection

  • Gather feedback from customers regarding product performance, satisfaction, and any areas of improvement.

  • Act as a liaison between the customer and the company’s product development or engineering teams, helping to ensure that customer insights are considered in future product developments.
