Job Description

  • Organizational Profile: Vision and Mission of Position - The person will be included in our “Industrial Sales ” division. 
  • His or her role is to promote sales of our Conveyor systems to our established customer portfolio, and/or to an increased portfolio in India. 
  • The aim of this position is to contribute to doubling the sales in the Industrial area, in order to reach the budget foreseen by the company’s business plan. 
 Tasks: Key Duties -The position’s duties are: 
  •  understanding clients’ technical necessities and transferring them to the R&D area, where customized hardware & software solutions will be developed. 
  •  ensuring coordination between R&D and customers, guaranteeing adequate responses to the clients’ needs in due time and form. 
  •  ensuring achievement of yearly budgeted sales per client and, in general, of all assigned yearly budgeted sales. 
  •  finding new prospective clients (OEM and system integrators) in market areas defined by Sales Management. 
Internal Relationships: 
  • Context- The person refers to the division’s coordinator, ensures excellent collaboration between R&D, Logistics and Sales Administration. 
  • The person has frequent contacts with Sales Manager, who will often join him or her when meeting the most important clients.
 Working experience: 
  • Essential Conditions Age- max 26-32 years.
  •  A background in industrial sales, with at least 2-year-experience in sales activities in the Indian market.
  •  Experience should include management of accounts like system integrators in consolidated business environments.
  •  Maximum availability to travel in India and abroad, even for medium-long periods (max 20 days). 
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Hindi is indispensable since all technical and external documents are in English. 
  • The knowledge of further foreign languages (spoken and written) represents an important plus.
  •  Specific experience: preferable conditions The person is experienced in managing technical-commercial relationships in industrial automation, in contexts where sales processes include direct participation of engineering and product development staff. The person has the following qualities: 
  •   Empathy. 
  •   Understanding of customers’ necessities.
  •   A business-oriented approach
  •   with commercial ability focused on closing orders/tenders.
  •   Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
