Job Summary
As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding in-store experiences by assisting customers, driving sales, maintaining visual standards, and ensuring smooth operations on the shop floor. You will be the face of our brand, helping customers make informed purchase decisions and fostering long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Assistance

Greet and welcome customers as they enter the store in a friendly and professional manner.

Understand customer needs through active listening and guide them to appropriate products or services.

Provide detailed product information, comparisons, and recommendations based on customer preferences.

Assist customers with trials, fittings, or product demonstrations (depending on store type).
2. Sales and Target Achievement
-
Actively promote products and upsell/cross-sell based on customer interest.

Meet or exceed individual and store-level sales targets.
-
Participate in promotional campaigns and explain ongoing offers or discounts to customers.

Encourage membership, loyalty programs, or additional services where applicable.
3. Product Knowledge
-
Stay updated on current inventory, new arrivals, pricing, specifications, and features.

Develop a deep understanding of product categories relevant to the store (e.g., fashion, tech, cosmetics).

Share product feedback and customer preferences with the store manager or merchandising team.
4. Stock & Inventory Support
-
Assist in receiving, tagging, and organizing stock on shelves or displays.
-
Ensure timely replenishment of fast-moving items.
-
Report low stock, damaged goods, or discrepancies in inventory to the supervisor.
5. Store Maintenance & Visual Merchandising
-
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor, fitting rooms, and displays.
-
Ensure that visual merchandising standards and product arrangements are maintained according to brand guidelines.

Help with seasonal or promotional store setups and layout changes.
6. Billing & Payment Support
-
Guide customers to billing counters or, in smaller stores, assist with basic point-of-sale (POS) operations.

Ensure smooth checkout experience and inform customers about return/exchange policies if asked.
7. Team Collaboration
-
Work as part of a cooperative team, supporting colleagues during busy hours.

Participate in team meetings, briefings, and training sessions.

Share customer feedback and suggestions for improving store operations or customer experience.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Essential:
-
Minimum qualification: 12th pass or equivalent; Graduate preferred

Good communication skills in English and local language
-
Basic math skills for handling prices, discounts, and POS (if needed)

Energetic, well-groomed, and presentable
-
Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
