As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right products, educating them about aquatic life, providing excellent in-store service, and helping with daily store operations.

As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right products, educating them about aquatic life, providing excellent in-store service, and helping with daily store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction & Sales:

Greet walk-in customers warmly and understand their requirements related to aquarium products.

Assist customers in choosing fish tanks, filter systems, plants, lighting, heaters, fish food, and other aquarium accessories.

Educate customers about different fish species, tank setups, compatibility, and maintenance.

Suggest products based on the customer's budget, experience level, and needs.

Upsell related products and promote new arrivals or ongoing offers.

Maintain a professional, helpful, and customer-first attitude throughout.
Product Knowledge & Aquarium Care:

Learn and explain the features and benefits of various fish species (freshwater/marine), plants, and equipment.

Share proper handling, feeding, and care instructions with customers.

Assist in stocking and maintaining aquariums in-store, including feeding fish, monitoring water quality, and general upkeep.

Stay updated on the latest trends in aquarium hobby care, technology, and products.
Store Operations:

Ensure the sales area is clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Refill shelves, display tanks, and label items with pricing and product information.

Help receive, unpack, and stock new shipments including live fish, plants, and equipment.

Handle basic store cleaning duties, especially around tanks and display areas.

Process billing using POS systems or manual invoicing as needed. Inventory & Record Keeping:

Monitor inventory levels and alert supervisors when stock is low or replenishment is needed.

Help with stock counts and inventory audits.

Record sales data and customer feedback for future reference.

Maintain records for fish health, quarantine, or treatment procedures (if applicable).
Customer Follow-up & Support:

Follow up with returning customers regarding product satisfaction or maintenance questions.

Inform customers about new arrivals, seasonal offers, or care tips via WhatsApp or in person.

Assist with basic troubleshooting of products like filters, pumps, or lighting systems.
