Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail or corporate sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, maximizing sales opportunities, and ensuring that every client interaction is a positive one. Whether working on the showroom floor, at a retail outlet, or in a B2B environment, the Sales Associate plays a critical role in driving the business forward by helping customers find the right products or services to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement:

Greet customers warmly as they enter the store or showroom and assist them in locating products or services.

Engage with customers to understand their preferences, requirements, and budget.

Provide detailed information on product features, pricing, and availability to help customers make informed decisions.

Address customer questions and concerns with patience and professionalism, ensuring a positive shopping or inquiry experience.
2. Sales Execution:

Recommend and upsell products based on customer needs and preferences.

Maintain knowledge of all ongoing promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs to offer customers the best deals.

Assist in processing transactions quickly and accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets set by the store or sales manager.
3. Product Knowledge:

Stay informed about the latest products, services, trends, and industry developments.

Attend training sessions, read product manuals, and study marketing materials to enhance product expertise.

Use knowledge to effectively demonstrate product benefits and handle objections during the sales process.
4. Store & Inventory Management:

Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing displays and shelves.

Ensure that products are properly tagged, stocked, and rotated.

Report inventory shortages, customer feedback, or defective items to the supervisor or inventory team.

Assist in inventory counts, restocking, and receiving new shipments when required.
5. After-Sales Service:

Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat purchases or referrals.

Handle exchanges, returns, or warranty claims as per store policies.

Provide support in resolving customer complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
6. Reporting and Communication:

Keep detailed records of customer interactions, sales, and feedback.

Submit daily or weekly sales reports to the sales manager or team lead.

Participate in team meetings and share insights to help improve overall customer service and sales strategies.
