Job Description
Position Summary:
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our retail sales team. As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our company, interacting directly with customers to provide excellent service and support. Your primary role will be to assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs, answer questions, and facilitate purchases, ensuring a smooth and positive shopping experience.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong communication skills, and is passionate about helping others. You will work closely with the store team to maintain the appearance and functionality of the store, contribute to sales goals, and uphold company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and offer assistance in a friendly and approachable manner.

Understand customers’ needs and preferences to provide personalized product recommendations.

Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, availability, and store policies.

Handle customer complaints or concerns calmly and professionally, escalating when necessary.

Ensure every customer leaves satisfied with their experience to encourage repeat business.
2. Sales and Product Knowledge:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, features, pricing, and promotions.

Demonstrate product features and benefits to customers, helping them make informed buying decisions.

Actively engage customers to drive sales, including upselling and cross-selling when appropriate.

Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, handling cash, card payments, and returns.

Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets consistently.
3. Merchandising and Store Maintenance:

Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock deliveries.

Help maintain attractive and organized product displays and merchandising standards.

Ensure shelves are fully stocked and products are correctly labeled with pricing.

Keep the store clean, tidy, and safe, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Assist in inventory counts and stock management as needed.
4. Teamwork and Communication:

Collaborate effectively with fellow sales associates, supervisors, and managers to achieve store goals.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the customer experience and store operations.

Support other store activities such as promotional events, marketing campaigns, and seasonal sales.
