Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Associate who will be the face of our brand and the first point of contact for customers visiting our store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the purchase process. The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in providing an exceptional shopping experience and ensuring that customers leave satisfied.
This is a customer-facing position requiring strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. The Sales Associate will also support other store functions, including merchandise display, billing, and basic inventory handling.Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement

Welcome and greet customers as they enter the store in a friendly and professional manner.

Assist customers in finding the products they are looking for by understanding their preferences, budget, and requirements.

Offer suggestions, alternatives, and solutions to help customers make informed purchase decisions.

Answer customer questions related to product features, pricing, availability, and warranty.
2. Sales Support

Actively engage in upselling and cross-selling of products based on customer interest.

Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the management.

Demonstrate product use or provide live demos when required.

Handle objections confidently and guide customers toward suitable alternatives if a product is unavailable.
3. Customer Service

Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after the sale.

Help with product exchanges or returns following the company’s policy.

Support elderly or differently-abled customers as needed in the shopping process.

Collect and respond to customer feedback or complaints promptly and report issues to the store manager.
4. Store Operations

Ensure the store is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

Maintain proper product placement, restock shelves, and keep displays attractive and updated.

Handle merchandise carefully and ensure all products are properly labeled and priced.

Assist with basic inventory checks and stockroom organization.
5. Billing and Checkout Support

Escort the customer to the billing counter and ensure a smooth checkout process.

Assist the cashier in packing items and verifying product quantities.

Inform customers about promotions, membership benefits, or loyalty points (if applicable).
6. Team Support

Collaborate with other sales staff to ensure a coordinated and efficient customer experience.

Share information with colleagues about product trends, customer preferences, or stock status.

Participate in staff meetings, briefings, and training sessions.
