Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team and drive sales through exceptional customer service, product knowledge, and persuasive communication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, promoting products, and meeting sales targets. This role requires enthusiasm, a customer-friendly approach, and a passion for sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement & Sales:
- Greet and assist customers in selecting products based on their needs.
- Provide detailed information about product features, benefits, and pricing.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Process customer purchases and handle payment transactions.
Sales & Target Achievement:
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
- Follow up with potential customers to close deals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of company products/services to enhance sales strategies.
Inventory & Store Management (if applicable):
- Ensure proper display and arrangement of products in the store.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory replenishment.
- Keep track of customer preferences and suggest new arrivals accordingly.
Customer Service & Relationship Management:
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Gather customer feedback to improve service and product offerings.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Preferred experience in sales, retail, or customer service (freshers with strong communication skills are welcome).
- Sales & Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in interacting with customers and handling objections.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and CRM software.
- Familiarity with digital sales platforms and social media marketing is a plus.
- Work Ethic & Attitude:
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
