Sales Transactions and Goal Attainment: Retail Store Associates handle sales transactions efficiently. They ring up purchases, process payments, and arrange for delivery or pick-up of the customer’s order if needed. Setting and attaining sales goals is part of their role.

Promotions and Upselling Techniques: They inform customers about ongoing promotions, discounts, or coupons. Using upselling techniques, they aim to increase store sales.

Product Expertise and Customer Advice: Retail Store Associates recommend the best products to customers. They provide advice about sales, promotions, and member benefits.

Store Maintenance and Stock Management: Keeping the sales floor area clean and organized is essential. Associates actively contribute to maintaining a pleasant shopping environment. They assist in restocking the store throughout the day, before opening, and after closing.
