Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTON FOR SALES:

Greet customers and assist them in selecting textile products( Sarees, dress, materials).

Achieve sales target by providing excellent customer guidance.

Maintain showroom cleanliness and proper product display.

Inform customers about new arrivals offers and promotions.

Introduction

We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused, and proactive Sales Consultant to join our textile showroom team. The ideal candidate will engage with customers, provide expert guidance on products, and drive sales while ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about textiles, fashion, and customer service, with the ability to meet sales targets, maintain product displays, and provide a memorable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Assistance & Product Guidance

  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Assist customers in selecting textile products including sarees, dresses, fabrics, and materials based on their preferences.

  • Provide product information, including fabric type, design details, pricing, and care instructions.

  • Suggest alternative options and complementary products to enhance the shopping experience.

  • Address customer queries and provide guidance in a polite and knowledgeable manner.

2. Achieving Sales Targets

  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

  • Actively promote new arrivals, offers, and ongoing promotions to customers.

  • Use upselling and cross-selling techniques to increase revenue.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and enthusiasm to drive customer engagement and loyalty.

3. Showroom Maintenance & Product Display

  • Ensure showroom cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming shopping environment.

  • Arrange products neatly and maintain attractive and organized displays.

  • Monitor inventory and report low-stock or damaged items to the supervisor.

  • Assist in replenishing shelves and arranging promotional displays as required.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with regular and new customers.

  • Follow up with clients regarding special orders or new arrivals, if applicable.

  • Collect feedback and communicate insights to the showroom manager to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Provide personalized recommendations to encourage repeat business.

5. Product Knowledge & Training

  • Stay updated with the latest trends in textiles, fashion, and fabric types.

  • Attend training sessions to enhance product knowledge and selling techniques.

  • Educate customers about special fabric features, maintenance, and styling tips.

  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve collective performance.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain a record of sales, customer interactions, and inquiries.

  • Prepare daily or weekly sales reports as requested by management.

  • Track promotional campaign effectiveness and provide insights for improvement.

  • Ensure accurate billing, invoicing, and documentation during sales transactions.

7. Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with showroom staff to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience.

  • Support colleagues during peak hours or promotional events.

  • Participate in team meetings to share insights and ideas for increasing sales.

  • Contribute to a positive, professional, and collaborative showroom environment.
