Sales Consultant
Job Description
* Identify and approach potential customers to promote products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement and Sales

Welcome customers to the store and understand their needs through effective questioning and active listening.

Guide them in selecting suitable appliances based on usage, space, budget, and brand preferences.

Provide detailed information about product specifications, energy efficiency, warranty, installation process, and after-sales service.

Demonstrate product features where applicable and ensure customers understand how the appliance works.
2. Product Knowledge and Demonstration
-
Stay updated on the latest models, technologies, and features in home appliances from all major brands (e.g., LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, Bosch, IFB, etc.).

Clearly communicate the advantages of specific models, helping customers make informed decisions.

Explain comparisons between models (e.g., inverter vs. non-inverter, front-load vs. top-load, frost-free vs. direct cool).
3. Sales Conversion
-
Persuade and influence customers to make purchases while ensuring they feel respected and valued.

Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the overall store sales goals.

Upsell and cross-sell complementary products such as voltage stabilizers, installation accessories, extended warranties, or service packages.
4. Inventory and Stock Handling

Maintain awareness of current stock levels and inform customers of product availability, expected delivery timelines, or delays.

Coordinate with the inventory team or warehouse for timely product dispatch and restocking.

Ensure display units are functional, clean, and well-arranged.
5. Order Processing and Documentation

Accurately record customer orders, generate invoices or receipts, and coordinate with billing or POS (Point of Sale) systems.

Ensure correct documentation for warranties, delivery instructions, and service requests.

Assist customers in arranging delivery and installation of appliances through internal or third-party teams.
6. Customer Service and After-Sales Support

Address any customer queries or issues politely and escalate complex concerns to the store manager.

Follow up on deliveries, installations, or delayed orders to ensure smooth customer experience.

Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
