Sales Consultant
Job Description
As a SALES CONSULTANT you'll be responsible for building relationships with customers, identifying their needs, and providing solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Engagement and Relationship Management

Greet and assist potential customers in person, over the phone, or online.

Build rapport and establish trust with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

Conduct needs assessments to identify the right products or services for each client.

Provide accurate and detailed product or service information to help customers make informed decisions.

Maintain long-term relationships with clients by offering ongoing support, updates, and service recommendations.
2. Sales Strategy and Execution

Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead follow-ups.

Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid sales techniques and product knowledge.

Demonstrate products or services when applicable, addressing all customer questions and objections.

Close sales deals and process necessary documentation, payment information, or contracts.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the sales manager or leadership team.
3. Market and Product Knowledge

Stay up-to-date on the company’s products, services, pricing, offers, and competitive advantages.

Learn and communicate key features, benefits, and technical specifications (if applicable).

Understand market trends, customer behavior, and competitor offerings to improve your sales pitch.

Provide feedback to management on product performance, client needs, and potential new opportunities.
4. Administrative and Reporting Duties

Maintain accurate records of sales, leads, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software or internal systems.

Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and submit them to the sales manager.

Follow up on pending leads and keep track of follow-up timelines.

Collaborate with the marketing, service, and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
5. After-Sales Support

Ensure that all customers receive excellent post-sale service, assistance with installation/setup (if needed), and follow-ups.

Handle customer concerns, product exchanges, or service requests professionally and promptly.

Encourage repeat business and referrals by delivering a consistent and satisfying customer experience.
Skills and Competencies Required
