POSITION PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES
· The Sales Coordinator for supporting the sales team to ensure smooth operations and effective communication between departments, clients, and management.
· This role combines administrative tasks with sales support functions to maximize team efficiency and contribute to achieving sales targets.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the sales team with order processing, client follow-ups, and maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.
Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
Prepare and analyze sales reports, track performance metrics, and provide insights to optimize sales strategies.
Coordination and Communication: Serve as a liaison between sales, marketing, logistics, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales activities
KEY OBJECTIVES:
> Support Sales Operations:
· Ensure smooth handling of sales orders, quotations, and contracts.
· Assist sales representatives with administrative tasks to keep the sales cycle
moving efficiently
> Enhance Customer Satisfaction:
· Provide prompt, professional responses to customer inquiries and concerns.
· Ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
> Streamline Communication:
· Act as a central point of contact between sales, logistics, and other
departments.
· Keep all stakeholders informed about order status, delivery schedules, and
client requirements.
> Maintain Sales Data and Reports:
· Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare reports for
management.
· Ensure CRM systems are up-to-date with accurate customer and sales data.
> Boost Sales Team Efficiency:
· Organize sales meetings, training sessions, and team schedules.
· Ensure sales materials and product information are always available and
updated.
> Drive Process Improvements:
· Identify bottlenecks in sales processes and propose solutions.
· Support implementation of new tools or procedures to improve sales
coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Veterinary,
Agriculture, or a related field.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Preferred & Skills:
· Minimum 3-4 years of relevant Experience in the food industry.
· Knowledge of the market across India.
· Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
· Languages known – Hindi, English, other local languages
