Responsibilities & duties
  • Generate new leads and build a healthy sales pipeline by prospecting through various outreach efforts including email, social media, calls, webinars, etc
  • Contact potential prospects through cold calls and emails
  • Identify prospect's needs & suggest appropriate products/services
  • Set up meetings (demos or calls) between (prospective) customers & yourself, or Sales Executives
  • Following up & provide support to prospects and current clients
  • Achieve milestones as per your role level & sales targets
  • Maintaining & sharing sales reports (Daily, Weekly, and Monthly)
  • Maintain communication with marketing & product team to keep yourself updated with product changes, use that knowledge to update prospects & current customers
  • Support marketing & product team in updating & maintaining documentation
Required Experience
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques like cold calling, cold emailing, and social outreach.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Fair understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Required Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to target, manage, and carry through deals to closure
  • Experience working with Google suite applications such as Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Docs & Slides
  • Experience working with a CRM, such as Pipedrive
  • Understanding of sales funnels
  • Understanding of SaaS, subscription models and related terminologies
Bonus skills
  • A knack for crunching numbers & forecasting
  • Having a great LinkedIn/Twitter network
  • HTML/Markdown
  • Experience with tools such as Sales Navigator
  • Understanding of compound growth and negative churn
  • Your experience, email style, research about our business, and discipline will be evaluated.
Compensation division
The Position Has Three Levels, And Depending On Your Experience, You Will Be Onboarded In One Those Three Levels With The Following On Target Earnings (OTE)
  • Level 1: ₹ 300,000 per annum
  • Level 2: ₹ 500,000 per annum
  • Level 3: ₹ 600,000 per annum
The OTE for all levels on this position is divided into two components:
  • Base Compensation (60%)
  • Variable Compensation (40%)
The Variable Compensation is calculated as a factor proportional to the achievement of the milestones set for that particular level.
Apart from OTE, you will also be entitled to successful Sales Compensation of up to 1 month of the Annual Contract Value (or ACV). Eg. Upon closing a sale with the ACV of USD 6,000, you will be entitled to a sales-based compensation of up to USD 500, depending on your contribution in closing that sale.
