We are looking to recruit a Senior Regional Sales Engineer with experience in Sales and Marketing of Tool steel, to be based Pune.

Job Description

· Sales & business development by:

• Develop clear understanding of customer’s needs.
• Identify and develop new customers.
• Calling, customer visits and email follow up
• Build relationships with key decision makers
• Present SMS’s products and services to customers to meet their needs.
• Negotiate pricing & payment terms

· Be responsible for the whole sales process, including pricing, payment terms, and money collection.

· Investigate and resolve customer’s technical and commercial issues.

· Maintain customer records with latest information.

· Supply weekly report including but not limited to customer visits and activities, competitors, industry and market related information, etc.

· Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.

· Conduct all business within the scope of SMS company policies and mission

· Be willing to travel 75% or more. Adapt to frequent traveling.

· Excellent planning skills and a structured way of working

· Basic business and finance knowledge

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

· University Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.

· Minimum 3 years of sales experience of Tool steel and experience from mould & dies, cold forming, die casting, injection moldings or similar.

· Experienced in value added sales.

· Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook knowledge required.

· Strong command of English in reading, writing, listening and speaking.

· Strong command of Hindi in reading, writing, listening and speaking.

Experience:

• Work: Min 3 years of sales experience of Tool steel and experience in Die & mould industry. Candidate should pocess strong knowledge of tool rooms the desired job location (Pune & Mumbai region) (Required)
