Job Description
Job Title: Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities
● Identify and develop new business opportunities across assigned territories, industries,
and key accounts
● Plan and execute regular client visits, focusing on high-potential and existing customers
● Understand application requirements, load conditions, and usage to recommend
suitable bearings and mechanical components
● Deliver technical discussions, product presentations, and solution-based selling to
customers
● Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure timely order closure
● Track enquiries from generation to conversion, maintaining a strong sales pipeline
● Build and maintain long-term relationships with OEMs, distributors, and end users
● Coordinate with inventory, dispatch, and accounts teams to ensure smooth order
execution and payment follow-ups
● Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market demand to support business
strategy
● Maintain regular reporting (DVRs, pipeline updates, visit reports) with actionable
insights
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or
related field
● 0–5 years of experience in B2B / technical / industrial sales (bearing industry preferred)
● Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
● Good technical understanding of mechanical components and applications
● Basic knowledge of MS Excel, reporting, and CRM systems
● Willingness to travel extensively (Pan India) for client meetings and business
development
