Job Overview:
A Sales Engineer is responsible for selling complex technical products or services by combining engineering knowledge with sales expertise. This role involves understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions, preparing proposals, and driving sales growth.
Enquiry Generation through Website/Online portals
Sending Techno commercial quotation to customers
Closing the deal & get PO from customers
Capable of attending tenders
Maintain the sales files
Collection Payment On time
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
✅ Identify potential clients and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events.
✅ Understand customer requirements and suggest the best technical solutions.
✅ Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and site visits.
✅ Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.
2. Technical Consultation & Support
✅ Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to provide accurate product information.
✅ Explain technical specifications, benefits, and applications of products/services.
✅ Assist customers with troubleshooting and post-sales technical support.
✅ Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends.
3. Proposal & Documentation
✅ Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and sales agreements.
✅ Develop business cases and ROI calculations for customers.
✅ Maintain records of sales activities, client interactions, and market feedback.
4. Relationship Management & Market Research
✅ Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and channel partners.
✅ Gather competitor insights and market trends to improve sales strategies.
✅ Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
