Job Title: Sales Engineer – Vacuum Pumps & Industrial Blowers
Location: Ahmedabad / Gujarat (Extensive travel across Gujarat, and Rajasthan for Edwards)
Our business started as a proprietorship firm named Technomech Engineers India in the year 2000. In 2017, we converted the firm into a Private Limited company: Jadaun Technomech India Pvt. Ltd.
We manufacture wooden pallets and are authorised sales and service distributors for:
Edwards Vacuum Pumps – Gujarat & Rajasthan
Kay International Industrial Blowers – Gujarat
With over two decades of industry experience, we pride ourselves in providing excellent sales, service, and application support to industrial customers across multiple sectors.
Position OverviewWe are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer with a mechanical background to handle sales and basic application support for Edwards vacuum pumps and Kay International blowers. The role involves frequent travel, customer visits, and regular calling to generate inquiries, follow up, and close orders.
Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new customers in industrial, OEM, and project segments.
Make regular field visits and cold calls to prospective customers.
Explain product features, technical specifications, and applications of vacuum pumps and blowers.
Prepare and submit technical and commercial offers in coordination with the management.
Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and tenders to convert them into orders.
Maintain relationships with existing customers and ensure repeat business.
Coordinate with service team for installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.
Maintain records of visits, calls, inquiries, and orders in a structured manner.
Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
Experience: Minimum 1 year of industrial / technical sales experience (preferably in pumps, blowers, compressors, vacuum, or rotating equipment).
Strong communication and presentation skills in English and local language.
Willingness to travel extensively within Gujarat (and Rajasthan for Edwards).
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable with cold calling and field work.
Basic computer skills (Excel, email, WhatsApp, report preparation).
