Job Description

This role demands a technically proficient and proactive individual who excels in client management, project coordination, and achieving sales targets within the piping design industry.
Atleast 1 year experience in sales and marketing with BE / BTech/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Consultation and Pre-Sales Support

  • Work closely with potential customers to assess their needs and determine how company products or services can meet those requirements.

  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations that explain technical aspects in clear, non-technical language.

  • Answer product-related questions and resolve any objections or concerns raised by potential clients.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (product development, engineering, and marketing) to customize solutions and ensure alignment with customer needs.

  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotes, and tender documents.

2. Sales Strategy and Business Development

  • Collaborate with sales team members to develop effective sales strategies tailored to specific industries and client profiles.

  • Identify new business opportunities by researching and targeting potential customers through networking, trade shows, cold outreach, and referrals.

  • Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.

  • Assist in the development of sales materials, including case studies, brochures, and data sheets.

3. Project and Account Management

  • Act as the primary technical contact for customer accounts throughout the sales cycle and beyond.

  • Provide post-sale support, including system installation assistance, product training, and troubleshooting.

  • Work with project managers to ensure the technical requirements and customer expectations are met during implementation.

  • Monitor customer satisfaction and handle complaints or technical issues, escalating them when necessary.

4. Product Expertise and Market Intelligence

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products or services and keep up to date with the latest developments and innovations.

  • Study competitor products and industry trends to effectively position the company’s offerings.

  • Gather customer feedback and relay information to product and engineering teams to inform future product enhancements.
