Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical knowledge and sales skills, enabling them to understand customer requirements, explain complex technical information clearly, and offer suitable product or service solutions.
This role involves working closely with customers to determine their needs, preparing presentations and quotes, providing pre- and post-sales support, and achieving defined sales targets. It is best suited for candidates who have an engineering background and a passion for customer engagement and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development

Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue leads in assigned regions or industries.

Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, OEMs, consultants, and procurement teams.

Visit prospective clients to present company products and solutions and understand their technical requirements.

Generate and follow up on quotations and proposals to convert leads into orders.
2. Technical Consultation

Understand the technical specifications of the company’s products and services.

Explain product features and demonstrate how they meet customer needs.

Provide technical advice to customers regarding installation, operation, and usage.

Suggest suitable alternatives if required, based on application and project needs.
3. Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Support

Assist clients in product selection, sizing, and customization.

Coordinate with internal technical and production teams to ensure proper order execution.

Provide after-sales support to clients and resolve basic technical issues.

Visit sites (if necessary) for application checks, commissioning support, or feedback collection.
4. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare technical proposals, commercial quotations, and tender documentation.

Maintain detailed records of client interactions, enquiries, and follow-ups using CRM tools or spreadsheets.

Submit daily/weekly reports on sales progress, pipeline status, and competitor activities.

Track orders from quotation to delivery, ensuring timely execution and client satisfaction.
5. Market Research & Feedback

Monitor market trends, competitor products, pricing, and industry developments.

Collect customer feedback for continuous improvement in products and services.

Participate in exhibitions, seminars, or trade shows as a company representative.
