Job Description

We are HIRING for a 'Sales Executive – Car Sales” for our Organization RNS Motors Pvt Ltd, to be stationed in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automobiles, a proven track record in sales, and excellent interpersonal skills. This role goes beyond the dealership, requiring participation in events, community engagement, and direct outreach to promote the brand and generate leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Customer Engagement:

    • Greet and engage potential customers in the dealership or via digital channels (phone, website, or social media), identifying their needs and preferences regarding vehicle models, features, and budget.

    • Understand customer requirements to recommend suitable vehicles and options, showcasing the key features and benefits of each model.

    • Provide customers with accurate information on vehicle specifications, pricing, financing options, warranties, and after-sales services.

    • Organize and conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives, explaining vehicle features, performance, and technology.

    • Actively promote additional products such as warranties, insurance, service plans, and accessories.

    • Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally, guiding them through the purchasing process.

  2. Sales Negotiation and Closing Deals:

    • Negotiate the final pricing, payment terms, and trade-in offers with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

    • Work with the finance department to offer and explain financing options such as loans or leasing, assisting customers in choosing the most appropriate financial product for their situation.

    • Finalize sales agreements and ensure all paperwork, including contracts and payment methods, are accurately processed.

    • Ensure all offers, promotions, and discounts are applied according to dealership policies, and follow up on outstanding customer commitments.

  3. Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

    • Keep up to date with market trends, customer preferences, and competitor pricing in the automotive industry.

    • Track competitor offers and promotions to ensure the dealership remains competitive and offers value-added services.

    • Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams regarding customer preferences, emerging trends, and popular models.

  4. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Maintain regular contact with previous customers to foster loyalty, encourage repeat business, and generate referrals.

    • Handle customer complaints or issues after the sale and coordinate resolutions with the service department if necessary.

    • Ensure customers are fully informed about their vehicle’s after-sales needs, including maintenance schedules and available services.

  5. Administrative and Reporting Duties:

    • Keep accurate records of all interactions with clients, including contact information, test drives, quotations, and sales transactions.

    • Document customer feedback and ensure all data is entered into the dealership's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

    • Regularly update sales forecasts and report sales performance, customer interactions, and inquiries to management.

    • Maintain an organized and clean sales environment, including vehicle displays and promotional materials.

  6. Achieving Sales Targets:

    • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics set by the dealership or company.

    • Participate in sales campaigns and promotional activities to drive traffic and increase sales volume.

    • Track personal sales performance and work to improve conversion rates, lead follow-ups, and upselling strategies.

  7. Vehicle Knowledge and Product Expertise:

    • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the vehicle models being sold, including technical specifications, new releases, features, pricing, and warranty information.

    • Continuously update product knowledge to stay informed about new vehicle technologies, safety features, and industry innovations.

    • Provide customers with information on vehicle maintenance, fuel efficiency, and any additional services offered by the dealership.

  8. Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with colleagues, including other sales staff, finance teams, and service departments, to ensure a smooth sales process and customer satisfaction.

    • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and product launches to remain up-to-date with the latest offerings and best practices.

    • Basic understanding of financing options and car loan/lease calculations.

    • Familiarity with automotive technology and features (e.g., safety features, infotainment systems, fuel efficiency).

  3. Educational Background:

    • A high school diploma is typically required, although a college degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields can be advantageous.

    • Sales training and certifications (e.g., from automotive sales associations or manufacturers) can add value to the role.
