Job Description

Requirements:
  • Minimum education: 10th pass (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Basic communication skills in Kannada or local language

  • Ability to travel within the assigned area

  • Responsible, punctual, and honest attitude

  • Mobile phone with WhatsApp access

Key Responsibilities:

1. Field Sales Activities

  • Conduct regular field visits to meet existing and prospective clients in the assigned territory.

  • Schedule and attend customer appointments to understand requirements, present solutions, and deliver product demonstrations.

  • Build relationships with retailers, wholesalers, dealers, or direct clients, depending on the business model.

  • Distribute product samples, brochures, catalogs, or promotional materials during visits.

2. Lead Generation and Conversion

  • Identify potential customers through cold calling, networking, references, or market visits.

  • Qualify leads and convert them into active sales opportunities through effective communication and persuasion.

  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly update lead status in the CRM or tracking system.

3. Product Knowledge and Pitching

  • Stay well-informed about the company’s product offerings, features, pricing, and competitive advantages.

  • Present products/services confidently, handling objections and questions professionally.

  • Customize sales presentations based on the client’s specific needs and industry.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with customers by providing consistent support and follow-ups.

  • Handle post-sale issues, coordinate deliveries, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Gather client feedback and communicate product or service concerns to the management.

5. Market Research and Intelligence

  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies.

  • Provide market feedback and customer insights to help improve product offerings and strategies.

  • Identify new business opportunities or untapped market segments.

6. Sales Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and visit reports.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to track performance and targets.

  • Ensure documentation related to sales, delivery, and invoicing is properly completed.
