Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic, target-driven, and customer-focused Sales Executive to join our growing team. The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying potential customers, presenting products or services, and closing deals that contribute to business growth. This role requires a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to understand customer needs to deliver tailored solutions.
Ideal candidates will have prior sales experience (field or telesales), but freshers with strong interpersonal skills and a hunger to succeed are also encouraged to apply. This position plays a vital role in driving revenue, building client relationships, and maintaining brand credibility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Acquisition

Identify potential leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, online inquiries, or field visits.

Understand customer requirements and suggest appropriate products or services.

Generate and qualify new business leads and maintain an active sales pipeline.
2. Product/Service Presentation

Provide detailed information and presentations on the company’s offerings to prospective clients.

Conduct product demos or meetings (in-person or virtual) to explain features, benefits, and pricing.

Tailor solutions based on customer requirements and preferences.
3. Sales Conversion

Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and close deals in a timely and professional manner.

Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned.

Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all deals and agreements.
4. Relationship Management

Maintain regular communication with new and existing customers to build long-term relationships.

Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.

Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
5. Market Intelligence

Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.

Share market feedback with the marketing and product teams to support improvements.

Analyze competitor activity and suggest improvements in sales strategies.
6. Reporting & Coordination

Maintain accurate records of client information, sales activity, and follow-ups using CRM or Excel.

Submit daily/weekly reports to the Sales Manager with updates on leads, conversions, and challenges.

Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, accounts, support) to ensure smooth order processing.
Technical Skills

Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, Internet)

Familiarity with CRM software or sales tracking tools

Knowledge of product features, pricing models, and competition

Basic understanding of the sales funnel and customer lifecycle
Soft Skills
