A Sales Executive – Retail Sales (Pharmacy) is responsible for assisting customers in purchasing medicines and healthcare products, ensuring proper product recommendations, and maintaining stock levels. This role requires strong customer service skills, basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals, and the ability to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Assistance & Sales
Assist customers in selecting medicines and healthcare products.
Explain product usage, dosage, and potential side effects if required.
Promote over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, wellness, and personal care products.
2. Prescription Handling & Compliance
Verify prescriptions and dispense medicines as per the doctor's recommendations.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety guidelines.
Maintain proper documentation for prescription sales when required.
3. Store Operations & Inventory Management
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers for restocking.
Maintain accurate billing, cash handling, and daily sales records.
Check the expiry dates of medicines and ensure proper product arrangement.
4. Customer Relationship Management
Build relationships with regular customers to ensure repeat business.
Inform customers about discounts, offers, and new product arrivals.
Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the management.
