Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned regions/industries.
- Achieve sales targets by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Conduct client visits, product presentations, and technical demonstrations.
- Requires frequent travel to client sites, plants, and industrial zones (Min. 18 days per month).
- Understand client requirements and propose suitable technical solutions.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including solution design, costing, and technical clarifications.
- Collaborate with the engineering team for customized solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from inquiry to order closure.
- Build long-term relationships with clients, consultants, and channel partners.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and service coordination.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events to generate leads.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical/thermal engineering products (Boilers, Heaters, Process Heating Equipment).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
- Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (Zoho CRM preferred), MS Office, and digital communication tools.
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
