Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting

Identify potential exhibitors through research, networking, referrals, online directories, industry associations, and past event databases.

Target a diverse range of businesses including MSMEs, startups, manufacturers, service providers, trade bodies, and government-linked enterprises.

Segment prospects based on industry type, business size, and relevance to the Bihar Business Mahakumbh theme.
2. Outreach and Client Engagement
-
Conduct outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, and in-person visits to engage potential exhibitors.

Schedule meetings (physical or virtual) with decision-makers to understand their needs and present the value proposition of exhibiting.

Maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and update interactions using CRM tools or sales trackers.
3. Pitching and Presentation

Present and explain stall packages, pricing tiers, booth specifications, promotional benefits, and expected footfall of the event.

Customize sales pitches based on the prospect's industry, business goals, and desired visibility.

Address inquiries related to stall location, event logistics, branding opportunities, and sponsorship add-ons.
4. Negotiation and Sales Closure

Negotiate pricing, discounts (if applicable), and value-added services in line with company policies.

Prepare and send formal proposals, stall layouts, and agreements to prospective exhibitors.

Follow up diligently to close deals within defined timelines and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
5. Coordination and Post-Sale Support

Liaise with the operations and event coordination team to ensure exhibitors receive necessary documentation, stall allocation details, and onboarding support.

Resolve pre-event concerns or special requests in collaboration with the event management team.

Build long-term relationships for future events, upsell opportunities, and referrals.
6. Reporting and Feedback

Maintain accurate sales records, update client databases, and report on daily/weekly sales progress.

Provide feedback to the marketing and event team on client preferences, objections, and suggestions for improving the pitch or stall offerings.

Participate in internal sales meetings and performance reviews.
