Sales Executive
Job Description
• Assist in policy servicing, claims, renewals, and issue resolutions
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards
• Maintain accurate call records and follow up where necessary.
WORK SCHEDULE : Shift Time: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM (Fixed)
WEEK OFF : Rotational
Key Responsibilities

Customer Query Handling
-
Respond to inbound calls, emails, and walk-in queries from customers regarding health insurance products.

Provide clear and accurate information about policy features, benefits, premiums, and coverage details.

Guide customers through the process of purchasing a new policy or modifying an existing one.

Policy Servicing
-
Assist customers in updating personal details, adding dependents, or making changes to coverage.
-
Handle requests for duplicate policy documents, ID cards, and payment receipts.

Ensure policy servicing requests are completed within defined turnaround times (TATs).

Claims Assistance
-
Guide customers through the claims process, including documentation requirements and claim submission.
-
Coordinate with the claims department to track claim status and provide updates to clients.

Assist in resolving claim disputes or escalations in line with company policies.

Renewals and Retention
-
Proactively contact customers whose policies are due for renewal.
-
Explain renewal terms, premium changes, and updated benefits.
-
Offer suitable renewal options to ensure continuous coverage and prevent policy lapses.

Issue Resolution
-
Investigate and resolve customer complaints or grievances promptly.
-
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or manager while ensuring follow-up until resolution.

Maintain professionalism and empathy during all interactions.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence

Follow IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) guidelines and company compliance policies.

Ensure that sales and servicing activities adhere to ethical practices and data privacy requirements.

Maintain transparency in all customer communications.

Record Keeping and Reporting
-
Maintain accurate and updated customer records in CRM systems.
-
Log call details, service requests, and follow-ups in the system for future reference.

Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports on customer interactions, renewals, and issue resolutions.

Sales and Cross-Selling
-
Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional insurance products.
-
Promote add-on covers, top-up plans, and other related services to existing customers.

Work towards individual and team sales targets.

Coordination with Internal Teams
-
Liaise with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to ensure smooth servicing.
-
Collaborate with marketing teams for promotional campaigns targeting renewals and new policy sales.
-
Share customer feedback with product teams to improve offerings.
Core Skills:

Technical Skills:
