Job Description
- Experience in B2B Sales.
- Experience in Sales to OEM + Contractors.
- Coordinate with Railway Department, Railway Contractors & Vendors.
- Proficiency in Bengali, Hindi & English.
- Basic Knowledge in MS Office & CRM software.
- Salary as per Industry Standard.
- 3-5 Year Experience in B2B sales
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Coordination and Relationship Building:

Establish and maintain regular communication with officials in the Railway Department (Zonal offices, Divisional units, Stores/Procurement departments).

Build rapport with Railway Contractors, EPC companies, consultants, and other key players in railway projects.

Serve as a single point of contact for inquiries, product demonstrations, and coordination needs.
2. Sales Development:
-
Understand the company’s product/service offerings and pitch them effectively to relevant railway stakeholders.

Identify upcoming tenders, procurement opportunities, or infrastructure projects involving the railways.

Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets by converting leads into orders.
3. Tender and Proposal Support:
-
Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for railway tenders.

Collaborate with the technical team to respond to pre-bid queries, compliance documentation, and BOQs.

Track tender portals, e-procurement websites (like IREPS), and maintain a calendar of upcoming submissions.
4. Vendor and Partner Management:

Coordinate with authorized railway vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for order execution, pricing, and logistics.

Help in finalizing rate contracts, quotations, and terms of delivery.

Monitor performance of vendors and maintain proper documentation for future reference.
5. Order Follow-up and Execution Monitoring:

Follow up on quotations submitted to railway departments or contractors.

Track the status of purchase orders, deliveries, and ensure compliance with railway norms.

Coordinate internally with logistics, production, and accounts teams to fulfill client requirements on time.
6. Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of meetings, communications, inquiries, and quotations.

Submit weekly/monthly reports to the sales manager on pipeline status, visits made, and potential deals.

Keep customer databases, project trackers, and contract files up to date.
