A sales executive is responsible for identifying potential customers, building relationships with them, understanding their needs, presenting a company's products or services, negotiating sales terms, and closing deals to achieve sales targets, essentially acting as the primary point of contact between a company and its clients while maintaining customer satisfaction; key duties include prospecting, lead generation, market research, product demonstrations, and managing customer accounts.
