Job Description

Introduction

A Sales Executive for floor and surface cleaner products is responsible for promoting, selling, and distributing innovative cleaning solutions to institutional clients such as hotels, schools, restaurants, and large stores. This role focuses on building relationships, generating leads, and achieving sales targets while ensuring client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate can be a fresher with strong motivation or an experienced professional, possessing excellent communication and sales skills, a go-getter attitude, and the ability to operate independently. Ownership of a vehicle with a valid driver’s license (DL) is mandatory for efficient client visits.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and approach potential clients such as hotels, restaurants, schools, offices, and institutional stores.

  • Promote and explain the features, benefits, and unique selling points (USPs) of the floor and surface cleaner range.

  • Generate leads through cold calls, direct visits, networking, and referrals.

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by converting leads into orders.

2. Relationship Building & Client Retention

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers like hotel managers, school supervisors, restaurant owners, and store managers.

  • Conduct follow-ups and post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Address client queries, product usage guidance, and resolve complaints promptly.

  • Encourage repeat business by demonstrating product value and consistent service quality.

3. Product Demonstration & Promotion

  • Conduct on-site demonstrations to showcase product efficacy.

  • Educate clients about proper usage, maintenance, and safety standards of cleaning products.

  • Promote new product launches, offers, or bundled packages effectively.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns or events targeting institutions.

4. Market Research & Feedback Collection

  • Study competitor products, pricing, and market trends to identify opportunities for market penetration.

  • Provide feedback to management on client preferences, product improvements, and emerging needs.

  • Analyze sales data to suggest strategic sales approaches for different institutional segments.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of client visits, orders, deliveries, and follow-ups.

  • Update sales reports, lead status, and monthly performance metrics in CRM systems or Excel.

  • Provide insights to management for strategic planning and performance review.

6. Travel & Logistics Management

  • Visit client locations across the assigned territory using a personal vehicle.

  • Plan daily routes efficiently to maximize client visits and minimize travel time.

  • Ensure timely delivery of product samples, brochures, and orders if required.

  • Maintain the vehicle in proper condition to support daily operations.
