Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development

Identify, approach, and develop business relationships with potential clients in the solar manufacturing industry, including module manufacturers, integrators, and EPC firms.

Promote the company’s solar raw material offerings, with a primary emphasis on PV Ribbon, and secondary materials such as EVA sheets, backsheets, junction boxes, and glass (if applicable).

Analyze the market and develop a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
2. Technical Consultation and Product Knowledge

Understand the technical specifications, types (tin-coated, solder-coated, etc.), and applications of PV Ribbon in solar module manufacturing.

Engage in technical discussions with procurement managers and engineering teams to provide accurate product information and support.

Stay updated on industry innovations, efficiency trends (like half-cut cells, bifacial modules), and evolving raw material standards to educate clients effectively.
3. Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers by providing excellent service and ongoing technical and commercial support.

Monitor customer satisfaction, anticipate needs, and resolve any product or supply issues promptly in coordination with logistics and quality control teams.

Work closely with production teams to provide lead-time updates and manage client expectations.
4. Market Research and Competitive Analysis

Conduct regular competitor analysis, including price benchmarking, product comparisons, and tracking key player activities.

Monitor market trends, new technology adoptions, and government policies affecting the solar industry.

Gather customer feedback and relay it to product and procurement teams to improve offerings or negotiate pricing with suppliers.
5. Order and Pipeline Management

Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate pricing and payment terms, and close sales deals in line with company policies.

Maintain updated records of all client interactions, orders, and payment statuses in CRM systems or sales tracking tools.

Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery and invoicing of orders.
6. Reporting and Forecasting

Submit weekly and monthly sales reports highlighting leads generated, deals closed, pipeline status, revenue achieved, and key challenges.

Assist in sales forecasting and demand planning based on ongoing market engagement and client procurement cycles.
