Sales Executive
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new sales leads to generate business for events, conferences, and exhibitions.velvetjobs+1
Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals based on client requirements.
Negotiate contracts and close sales deals with clients and sponsors.
Coordinate closely with the event planning and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution.
Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets on a monthly and annual basis.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management via CRM tools.
Assist in the promotion and marketing of events through calls, emails, networking, and attendance at industry events.
Respond promptly to event sales inquiries and provide information to clients.
Prepare and manage event budgets in collaboration with the planning team.
Provide onsite support during events to ensure client satisfaction and successful execution.
Gather feedback from clients post-event for continuous improvement.velvetjobs
Requirements:
Graduate degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field preferred.
Proven event sales or business development experience, ideally 1–3 years in event management, hospitality, or related industries.ziprecruiter
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong network-building, relationship-management, and client-servicing capabilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, as required by events.
