Position Overview

A Sales Executive in the Real Estate industry plays a critical role in driving property sales and building relationships with clients. This professional is responsible for showcasing residential or commercial properties, understanding client requirements, negotiating deals, and closing sales. Sales Executives act as the face of the company, providing expert guidance to prospective buyers, investors, and tenants throughout the entire property buying or renting process.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, in-depth knowledge of the real estate market, and the ability to work under pressure to meet sales targets. Whether working for a real estate agency, a property developer, or a brokerage firm, the Sales Executive must be proactive, persuasive, and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Generate leads through various channels including cold calling, referrals, property portals, social media, walk-ins, and marketing campaigns.

  • Schedule meetings and property site visits with potential clients to understand their real estate needs, preferences, and budget.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing regular follow-ups, updates, and after-sales service.

  • Provide detailed information to buyers about properties including location, pricing, amenities, financing options, and legal documentation.

2. Property Presentation & Site Visits

  • Organize and conduct property showings and site visits for clients.

  • Present available properties in a professional manner, highlighting key features, benefits, and investment potential.

  • Assist clients during site inspections, answer their queries, and explain project details, layout plans, floor plans, and specifications.

3. Sales Target Achievement

  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets as assigned by the sales manager or team leader.

  • Convert leads into successful sales through strong negotiation, communication, and persuasion techniques.

  • Maintain a pipeline of potential buyers and follow up to maximize conversion.

  • Work on closing deals by preparing sales proposals, managing negotiations, and coordinating with legal and documentation teams.

4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

  • Stay updated with current real estate market trends, pricing, and new developments in the region.

  • Monitor competitor projects and offerings to better position your company’s properties in the market.

  • Provide insights to the management team based on client feedback and market observations.

5. Documentation & Coordination

  • Assist clients with the booking process, documentation, and legal formalities required for property transactions.

  • Coordinate with internal departments such as legal, finance, CRM, and marketing to ensure a smooth transaction.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales, and follow-ups using CRM tools or Excel sheets.

6. Promotional Activities

  • Participate in real estate exhibitions, property fairs, and promotional events to increase visibility and generate leads.

  • Support marketing teams in planning and executing digital campaigns, roadshows, and local advertising.

  • Distribute brochures, flyers, and other promotional material to potential clients.

  • Sales and negotiation: Strong ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.

  • Customer service: Ability to understand client needs and provide personalized solutions.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local language(s).

  • Presentation skills: Confident in showcasing properties and making compelling sales pitches.

  • Market knowledge: Understanding of the local property market, including pricing, neighborhoods, and regulations.

  • Tech-savvy: Familiar with MS Office, CRM tools, and online real estate portals.

  • Time management: Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple client interactions simultaneously.

  • Self-motivated: Driven, proactive, and results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
