Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Inbound & Outbound Calling
-
Handle inbound customer calls to resolve queries related to insurance policies, premium payments, renewals, and product details.

Make outbound calls to prospective or existing customers to pitch insurance products, upsell or cross-sell services, or follow up on leads and documentation.

Engage with customers politely and professionally to maintain a positive brand image.
Sales & Lead Conversion
-
Explain insurance products (life, health, motor, general) to potential customers based on their needs and eligibility.

Convince prospects to purchase or renew policies by explaining benefits, coverage, and pricing clearly.

Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
-
Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to customers by using the right tools and resources.

Manage complaints, follow up for resolutions, and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.

Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and courteous support.
Documentation & CRM Updates
-
Record customer details, conversation summaries, feedback, and next steps in CRM systems or company software.

Ensure all customer interaction data is properly logged, tracked, and updated in real time.

Assist in document collection, verification, and sharing policy-related documents or emails as required.
Compliance & Quality Assurance

Follow scripts, regulatory guidelines, and internal quality standards for all interactions.

Maintain the confidentiality of customer information and ensure adherence to data protection laws (e.g., IRDAI, GDPR, etc.).

Participate in internal training sessions and audits to maintain compliance and performance.
Collaboration & Communication

Coordinate with sales teams, underwriting departments, or customer care units to resolve customer queries effectively.

Share relevant customer insights and feedback with team leaders and product managers to improve service offerings.
