Job Description
Role Overview
The Sales intern will complete all tasks assigned by the manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, managing email campaigns, generating sales leads, making cold calls, participating in meetings, and assisting the Sales department wherever possible.
Note: Please note this is a full time internship opportunity and a person should be available for a minimum of 10 months duration for internship.
First 4 months:
- Leadgen - Find the right companies we should reaching out, get email of the different prospects + write 2-3 lines to help personalize the email
- Reach out to them through linkedin, email, twitter. Leverage connections of the team - explore 2nd degree of the full team.
- Find partners like ATS, HRMS - write very detailed cold email and find all possible connections to the company from our company + investors + advisors.
- Start joining demos and write down minutes, engage with clients, pitching/explaining about company’s verticals, getting involved in generating revenue for the company, scheduling meetings with client’s management.
- Use content from the blogs we want + all the templates - enable the SDR to build a relationship.
Next 3 months - we decide if the person is good to continue. If good, then have that person be a fulltime SDR

- Recent grad or working towards a degree or diploma in a Business related program
- 0-6 months+ of experience in Sales, Sales Development, or Operations.
- Cold-calling experience preferred
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing skills
- Knowledge of business process, roles, and organizational structure
- A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements
- Passionate about technology, business, and winning
- Proficient in using Social platforms like LinkedIn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, engaging personality and time management skills
- Ambitious, results-oriented and target-driven mentality
