Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Create a database of potential new subscribers, identifying their needs, persuading them that your products or services (rather than those of competitors) can best satisfy those needs; closing the sale by agreeing the terms and conditions; and providing an after-sales service.
- Create awareness of our product & services by explaining the various products through in-person visits and presentations to the potential subscriber leads in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s services.
- Develop and update knowledge of their own services and the services of their competitors.
- Interact with marketing personnel and CRM personnel in the company to determine the best methods of promoting the service.
- Research sources for developing prospective subscribers and for information to determine their potential and prepares a pipeline of subscriber leads.
- Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective subscribers
- Expedite the resolution of subscriber problems and complaints.
- Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
- Analyzes the market potential and determines the value of existing and prospective subscriber value to the organization.
- Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory / segment.
- Report to employers on sales and provide feedback about the marketing of new or established products.
- Keeping detailed records of all contacts;
- Achieving if not exceeding annual sales targets;
- Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables
- Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations, and briefings;
- Staying informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
Requirements
- Experience in sales desired. Previous Internship experience in e-commerce, health tech, FMCG, media space selling, the Mobile service provider will be an added advantage.
- An Achiever, with decisive goals and objectives
- Polite, courteous and pleasing personality
- Should be a team player.
- Should have strong communication and negotiation skills as well as solid presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of web marketing technologies and best practices.
