Job Summary:
The Sales Intern will support the sales and business development team by assisting in lead generation, client communication, market research, and other day-to-day sales activities. Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Research potential customers through online databases, LinkedIn, and company directories.

Generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and social media platforms.

Maintain and update the lead database in CRM tools or spreadsheets.
2. Client Communication:

Reach out to potential leads via phone calls, emails, or chat to introduce company products/services.

Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, or product demos for senior sales executives.

Follow up with interested leads and help convert them into active prospects.
3. Market Research:

Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and new market opportunities.

Analyze customer pain points and suggest product positioning strategies.

Assist in preparing sales presentations, competitor analysis reports, or proposal documents.
4. Sales Support:

Assist the sales team with order processing, quotation drafting, and client follow-ups.

Help maintain accurate documentation and logs of client interactions and deal status.

Support the development and execution of sales campaigns or promotional initiatives.
5. Reporting and Analysis:

Track outreach metrics such as calls made, emails sent, and responses received.

Prepare daily/weekly progress reports on leads, conversions, and meetings set.

Provide feedback to the sales team regarding lead quality and customer behavior.
6. Learning and Development:

Attend sales training sessions and team meetings to understand sales strategies and techniques.

Shadow experienced sales professionals during client calls or demos.
