About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Provide advice to clients and recommend insurance products
2. Provide intermediary services between insurance companies and clients
3. Provide good customer service to maintain and retain clients
4. Expand customer base
5. Interview prospective clients to gather data about them
6. Sell life policies that payout on death
7. Sell annuities that pay an income at retirement
8. Analyze the client's current portfolios and make recommendations
9. Assist clients during the claims process
10. Maintain electronic and paper records
11. Generate and follow up on leads, schedule appointments, identify client needs, and market appropriate products
12. Close the sale with current prospective customers
13. Meet new business production goals and objectives
14. Provide customer support in a friendly, prompt, and accurate manner
15. Network and build business referral relationships
16. Input quotes and policy renewals for customers
17. Coordinate with lenders and mortgage companies
18. Assist clients with the claims process

Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 1 to 3 Lac/annum
