Job Description
Job Summary:
We are hiring Sales Lead Generator to support our investment advisory team by identifying, qualifying, and educating potential investors. Your primary role will be to generate interest in traditional investment options, such as mutual funds, bonds, and insurance-linked instruments, and forward quality leads to the respective managers for further conversion.
This is a performance-driven role with clear rewards: only qualified leads that result in a client visit or investment conversion are counted for incentives, Spiff rewards, and bonuses.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify prospective investors through cold calls, referrals, online platforms, or networking.

Initiate conversations with leads to explain traditional investment products (training will be provided).

Build interest and confidence in potential investors regarding safe and long-term investment strategies.

Collect accurate client details and pass them to the sales or investment manager for follow-up.
2. Investor Education
-
Educate leads on the basics of traditional investments, such as:

Fixed Deposits
-
Government Bonds
-
Mutual Funds
-
Retirement Plans
-
Tax-saving instruments
-

Address common doubts and concerns by explaining the safety, return potential, and long-term benefits.
3. Lead Qualification

Verify the quality of leads by ensuring the individual:
-
Has disposable income for investment.
-
Shows interest in low-to-medium risk investment products.
-
Is available for a follow-up meeting or a phone consultation with the manager.

Only quality leads with potential for conversion are considered for incentives.
4. Lead Handover & Coordination
-
Pass verified leads to the appropriate sales or investment manager.
-
Maintain daily lead logs, call reports, and status trackers in Excel or CRM software (training provided).

Coordinate with the sales team to track lead outcomes and ensure incentive accuracy.
5. Spiff and Incentive Tracking
-
Understand and work toward the weekly and monthly incentive parameters.

Incentives will be paid based on:
-
Number of quality leads handed over.
-
Leads that convert into business after the manager's visit or follow-up.

Weekly Spiff programs may include cash bonuses, gift cards, or other rewards.
Qualifications:

Minimum 12th pass; graduates (BBA, B.Com, BA, etc.) preferred

Freshers with good communication and learning attitude are encouraged to apply

Basic understanding of investment products is helpful (training will be provided)
Skills Required:

Strong communication and persuasion skills

Confidence in speaking with unknown individuals over the phone

Basic sales or customer handling knowledge

Ability to learn about financial/investment products

Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple leads simultaneously
