Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Execution: End-to-end management of data science projects, from conception to implementation.
Digital Innovation & Tech Scouting: Research and implement emerging technologies like AI/ML, Generative AI (LLMs), and cloud computing (e.g., AWS SageMaker).
Data Analysis & Modeling: Apply classical ML, numerical optimization, and advanced analytics to solve complex, domain-specific problems.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Translate business needs into technical requirements, communicating complex findings to non-expert audiences.
Strategic Insights: Analyze market research, competitive intelligence, or scientific data to drive business decisions and ROI.
Technical Knowledge Sharing: Act as a subject matter expert, sharing insights with the wider organization and mentoring junior members.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, etc.).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, or Java; experience with SQL, big data tools (Spark/Hive), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
Experience: 3-10+ years in data science, analytics, or a similar role, often with experience in specific sectors like Pharmaceuticals, Energy, or Technology.
