Job Description
Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to achieve sales targets, expand customer base, and increase revenue. This role involves strategic planning, team development, customer relationship management, and coordination with marketing and product teams to drive business growth.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales processes, and the ability to motivate a team while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with business goals.

Set sales targets and KPIs for the team and monitor progress regularly.

Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
2. Team Management

Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate the sales team.

Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.

Create an environment that encourages high performance, teamwork, and professional development.
3. Customer Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

Address key customer issues and provide timely solutions.

4. Sales Operations

Oversee the daily sales operations, including pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.

Ensure efficient handling of sales processes and CRM updates.

Coordinate with marketing for lead generation activities and promotional campaigns.
5. Business Development

Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.

Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed revenue goals.

Collaborate with product teams to provide market feedback and suggest improvements.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus.

Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role.

Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and CRM software.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve targets.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
