Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Management:

Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives or executives.

2. Sales Strategy and Planning:

Develop and implement sales strategies in line with company objectives.

Identify new markets, customer segments, and growth opportunities.

Create detailed sales plans, territory management plans, and account strategies.

Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales campaigns and promotional activities with market demands.
3. Target Achievement and Revenue Growth:

Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the team and monitor their achievement.

Analyze sales reports and data to track performance and adjust strategies as needed.

Develop and execute action plans to overcome sales slumps or underperformance.

Ensure consistent growth in revenue, customer base, and market share.
4. Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Monitor competitor activity and market trends to proactively address challenges.

Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows when required.
5. Reporting and Forecasting:

Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.

Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline analysis, and revenue projections.

Use CRM tools and analytics software to monitor sales activities, performance metrics, and customer behavior.

Ensure all sales data is updated and maintained accurately in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
6. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:

Work closely with product, finance, customer support, and operations teams to align on customer needs and delivery capabilities.

Provide feedback from the market to internal teams to improve products, pricing, and service offerings.

Coordinate with marketing for campaigns, lead generation, and brand visibility.
