Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve company targets in terms of policy sales, premium collection, and market penetration.

Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for expansion or product development.

Set clear performance objectives and KPIs for the sales team.
2. Team Leadership & Development
-
Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives, agents, or relationship managers.

Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and implement training programs to improve skills and productivity.

Foster a high-performance sales culture based on integrity, accountability, and customer focus.
3. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management

Drive acquisition of new customers through direct sales, referrals, channel partnerships, and marketing campaigns.

Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, brokers, and corporate partners.

Ensure customers receive accurate product information, transparent pricing, and assistance throughout the policy lifecycle.
4. Channel Management
-
Manage multiple sales channels including field sales, telecalling, digital platforms, and third-party agents.

Support and expand distribution networks by identifying and onboarding new partners or intermediaries.

Ensure adherence to regulatory norms and ethical sales practices across all channels.
5. Operations & Reporting

Coordinate with underwriting, claims, and customer service teams to ensure seamless policy issuance and post-sales support.

Generate regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for senior management.

Maintain accurate records of leads, closures, client communication, and revenue generation using CRM software.
