Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Planning:
-
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth objectives.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.

Set clear sales targets for the team and monitor progress toward achieving them.

Plan and execute promotional campaigns, pricing strategies, and discount structures to enhance sales.

Team Leadership and Management:

Lead, motivate, and coach the sales team to improve their performance and meet sales goals.

Conduct regular team meetings, provide training, and develop team members' skills.
-
Assign sales territories and accounts to team members to maximize coverage and efficiency.

Evaluate individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance.

Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Work with the customer service and account management teams to resolve issues and address client concerns promptly.

Meet with clients in person or via phone and email to understand their needs, negotiate deals, and close sales.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to maximize customer value.

Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

Prepare and maintain regular sales forecasts, tracking performance against targets.

Generate detailed sales reports to provide insights into the team's performance, trends, and areas for improvement.

Analyze sales data and metrics to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for growth.

Present sales performance reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and challenges.

Collaboration with Other Departments:

Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and smooth execution of sales strategies.

Provide feedback to the marketing team regarding customer preferences, product features, and market trends.

Collaborate with the product development team to help tailor offerings based on customer needs and feedback.

Sales Process Improvement:

Continuously evaluate and improve the sales process to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time, and close deals faster.

Implement sales tools, CRM systems, and best practices to streamline operations and track progress.

Ensure the team follows established sales processes and adheres to company policies and guidelines.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new sales team members.

Ensure new hires are adequately trained in product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer relationship management.

Budgeting and Resource Allocation:

Develop and manage the sales department's budget, allocating resources effectively to meet goals.
