Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our insurance sales team. As a key member of the sales department, you will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, recruiting and managing a team of agents or advisors, and achieving revenue and customer acquisition targets.
This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in insurance sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the market and customer needs. You will be instrumental in expanding our customer base, strengthening relationships, and contributing to the overall growth of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management and Leadership:

Recruit, train, and develop a team of insurance advisors or direct sales representatives.

Monitor team performance and provide continuous coaching, mentoring, and motivation.

Set and track sales targets for individuals and the team as a whole.
2. Sales Planning and Strategy:

Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals.

Identify new markets, customer segments, and business opportunities.

Plan and execute promotional activities and sales campaigns.
3. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:

Lead the team in identifying and acquiring new clients for life, health, or general insurance products.

Maintain strong relationships with key clients, providing personalized service and timely follow-ups.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Product Knowledge and Training:

Stay updated on all insurance products offered by the company.

Conduct regular product training and sales technique workshops for the sales team.

Ensure the team clearly understands and communicates product benefits, features, and compliance requirements.
5. Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure that all sales activities adhere to IRDAI regulations and company policies.

Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and documentation.

Submit periodic sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
