Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager – IT & Services  

Location: Navi Mumbai- Belapur 

Reports To: Sales Director 

Position Type: Full-Time​  

 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our IT & Services sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the IT sector, and possess strong leadership and strategic planning skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify new business opportunities, foster client relationships, and drive revenue growth.​ 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Business Development: 

  • Identify and target new business opportunities and markets. 

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.​ 

  • Client Engagement: 

  • Initiate contact with potential clients through visits, calls, and presentations. 

  • Understand and assess client needs to provide tailored solutions. 

  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close sales effectively.​  

  • Account Management: 

  • Manage and expand existing client accounts to maximize revenue. 

  • Ensure timely delivery of products and services to clients. 

  • Follow up on post-delivery support and address any issues promptly.​ 

  • Team Leadership: 

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve targets. 

  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team performance. 

  • Set clear objectives and monitor team progress.​  

  • Market Analysis: 

  • Research market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. 

  • Provide feedback to the product development team for continuous improvement.​ 

  • Reporting: 

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions. 

  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.​ 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field. 

  • Minimum years of experience in sales, preferably in IT & Services. 

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 

  • Strong understanding of IT products and services. 

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. 

  • Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform sales strategies.​
