Job Summary
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales and market strategies that drive business growth, generate leads, acquire new clients, and enhance brand presence. This leadership role requires strategic thinking, strong team management, and the ability to deliver measurable results through planning, execution, and optimization of the sales process.
The Sales Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams—including marketing, operations, and product development—to align business objectives with effective sales and brand-building initiatives. Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy Development

Design, implement, and manage comprehensive sales strategies to achieve short-term and long-term revenue targets.

Break down organizational sales goals into actionable plans, allocate targets to teams or regions, and ensure execution through regular monitoring.

Identify gaps in current processes and develop strategies to increase sales efficiency and conversion rates.

Forecast sales trends, develop pricing strategies, and coordinate efforts with finance and product departments to align revenue goals with business objectives.
2. Market Strategy Development

Conduct thorough market research to identify new opportunities, understand customer needs, and analyze competitor offerings.

Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches or market expansion.

Define target customer segments, ideal client profiles, and region-specific sales approaches.

Collaborate with the marketing team to generate region-specific campaigns and promotional strategies.
3. Lead Generation

Create and execute lead generation plans using a mix of traditional methods (cold calling, networking, referrals) and modern digital tools (email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, CRM systems).

Oversee inbound and outbound lead nurturing through proper segmentation, follow-ups, and automation tools.

Monitor and analyze lead generation KPIs including cost per lead, lead-to-client conversion, and lead quality.

Support the sales team with scripts, templates, and tools to improve prospecting efficiency.
4. Client Acquisition

Lead the client acquisition process from prospecting through proposal development to final deal closure.

Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and negotiations with clients and channel partners.

Ensure a high-quality onboarding process for new clients in collaboration with the operations and customer success teams.
5. Brand Management and Positioning

Collaborate with the marketing team to strengthen the brand’s presence in the market through digital, print, and event-based campaigns.
