Overview of the Profile:
If you appreciate the fact that 80% of the CEO across verticals come from sales background and aspire to be one, you are most likely looking at the right opportunity. At the least, we are looking for one such dynamic resource who is willing to take it head on, right from the start.
The Business Development Manager (BMD) works closely with the founding members of the Gfactors in strategizing and executing the sales process. And would be critical resource in generating business for the company. Ideal candidate will be given handsome ESOPS, as we would consider him/her important to the business.
The objective of the business development manager is to obtain new business from accounts, which may be across Schools, Colleges, Universities and Corporates.
Responsibilities:
- Owner of the Sales process from Prospect stage till it converts to a sale
- To create a pipeline of qualified opportunities
- To continuously refine the target set of accounts database based on the customer buying behavior.
- To follow up with potential clients leading to a sales presentation, demos or other sales opportunities for the target accounts
- Single point of contact for contractual closure
- To ensure revenues and collections are as per target
Key Performance Metrics:
- No of new accounts opened
- Revenue from accounts opened as per quarterly targets
- Profitability (Profit Before Tax)
Suitable Profile would have:
- 1+ years of verifiable work experience in selling
- Have a real passion for selling and winning
- Confident communicator with fluency in written and spoken English
- Comminuting in local language will be an advantage
- Be willing to travel over 60% of the time
- Have high levels of energy
- A formal degree is preferred
