Job Description
Responsibilities
- Selling the product by establishing contact and developing
- relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
- Document qualified opportunities to pass on to Business
- Development Managers
- Be the first line of contact, quick on your feet, and handle objections like a pro
- Have a deep understanding of the entire sales process
- Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales.
- Effectively search prospective clients and generate sales leads.
- Aiming to meet or exceed targets.
- Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale.
- Business Development for Urban Clap
Job Responsibilities
- Understand different categories in depth, and how customers hire in the same
- Identify and onboard great service professionals across categories
- Source, curate and update accurate provider information, using creative and original ideas to present information
- Evaluate and verify existing profiles and devise innovative ways to enhance the quality of the providers
- Use the internet and other social media platforms to verify profile information
- Impart necessary training to onboard service professionals on these norms and how to use Urban Clap
- Generate leads for the sales team to grow the categories manifold
- Interact with providers regularly to ensure active engagement on the platform
- Resolve queries from providers on a case by case basis
Who are we looking for
- 02 years of work experience in start-ups, consulting, marketing or operations roles
- Bachelor's degree preferred. MBAs not required
- A desire to understand consumer behavior and mindset
- Strong communication skills and a flair for writing
- Self-motivated and willing to work hard to exceed targets
- Analytical mindset and data have driven decision-making mentality
- Awareness of different social media profiles digging and online research
- Hustle and get things done attitude
